Artist's Comments:

As I wrote my fantasy novel, this scene came to me so vividly, I felt compelled to paint it. When I looked at it, I felt like I had been there before and, funnily enough, many people have expressed the same deja vu feeling!

This island stars as one of the main settings of my fantasy romance novel series; while outwardly, Mantiko is a place of exotic beauty and tranquility, underneath danger, hatred, forbidden love, bloodshed and deception lurk.
