Artist's Comments:

Midnight Paradise is another scene from my upcoming fantasy novel featuring my island of Mantiko.

I began experimenting with impasto here and loved it; when writing, I visualized this celebratory scene, an island wrapped in darkness with bright stars and I love palm trees, so I wanted to exaggerate them, adding a more fantastical, dreamlike quality.
