What Does "Setting Your Foundation" Mean?

Where is my "Cupid's Bow?"
Your Cupid's Bow is the triangular dip of your top lip and is often lined with a metallic or neutral lip liner to make your lips look bigger or make full lips look even more lush.
What does it mean to put eye shadow in the "Crease?"
The crease is the line of your eyelid. Darker shadows are often applied in that area to give the illusion of depth.
Where are the "apples" of my cheeks?
When you smile, the balled up part of your cheek is your "apple." Blush is often dabbed on there and blended up past your eyes, into your hairline.
BLEND well to avoid looking clownish.
What does "highlighting" do?
Highlighting means that you apply a light color, either metallic, creme etc. to a part of your face to make it stand out more.
Such areas that benefit from highlighting are: your brow bones (right underneath your eyebrows), the inner corners of your eyes, your cheekbones, cupid's bow, the middle of your bottom lip (to make your lips look poutier), the middle of your forehead, your chin, tip of your nose, your decolletage (your chest area) and collarbones.
DO NOT hightlight EVERY part of your face or you'll look like a clown. Pick a few and remember to Blend well!
